LIC’s club system has evolved over the years. The traditional clubs include the Chairman’s Club, Zonal Manager’s Club, Divisional Manager’s Club and Branch Manager’s Club. Additional clubs such as the Corporate Club, Galaxy Club and Elite Club have subsequently been introduced.

What are the qualifying conditions for LIC club membership?
We are here to show you the qualifying conditions for CM Club, ZM, DM, BM clubs and Distinguished Club. Primary qualifying conditions for LIC club member agents have four criteria. These are: 1. The minimum net number of lives, 2. The net number of lives or Total lives in force, 3. Renewal commission paid, and 4. year commission paid.

An agent must meet the prescribed minimum net number of lives. In addition, the applicable requirement for net lives OR total lives in force, along with the prescribed Renewal Commission and First Year Commission, should be considered as per the applicable club rules.

Recognition for agents demonstrating professional performance early in their agency career.
The Distinguished Agents’ Club was introduced to promote professionalism among agents in the early years of their career and encourage faster growth in insurance coverage.

How is LIC Club Membership Qualified?
To become an LIC Club Member, an agent has to meet the prescribed club conditions for 3 years out of a 4-year period.
The agent must qualify in the current qualifying year and also in any two of the three previous financial years.
Example: If 2025–26 is the qualifying year, the agent must qualify in:
2025–26 + any 2 of these 3 years:
• 2024–25
• 2023–24
• 2022–23
After meeting the required conditions, the agent gets club membership for one year, as per the applicable LIC Club Rules.
How Is Club Membership Qualified?
An agent must qualify in the current qualifying year and in any two of the three previous financial years.

Elite, Corporate and Galaxy Clubs
LIC has introduced premium clubs in addition to the traditional Chairman, Zonal Manager, Divisional Manager and Branch Manager clubs.
The Corporate Club was introduced with its first membership year in 2004-05, the Galaxy Club with its first membership year in 2015-16, and the Elite Club with its first membership year in 2024-25.
The introduction of these clubs provides a broader recognition structure for high-performing agents.
The Elite Club is particularly significant because it represents the newer premium tier in LIC’s club structure.
